The story
In the old Norse poems, Svalinn is the shield that stands before the sun. If it ever fell, the mountains and the sea would burn.
SVALYN is two voices from that story. Alva is the sun: a herding call that carries across the ice. Vidar is the shield: a deep voice that holds the line. Every song is one night in the North, and every night ends with the sun.
